Well I am starting to understand just how hard it really is to configure a Coop .
I must have created 20 Non - S Mini's .
Color wise I am leaning towards Lightning Blue black roof, black hood stripes.
But my question in this thread is do you think getting the factory installed Aero Kit for $1250 is worth it. My current build is at $22,462 . Which includes Sports pkg , fog lights front and rear , white marker lights, spoiler ,mud flaps and Sun roof.
I like the look of the aero kit it gives the mini a S look .
Or is this something I could add later aftermarket and maybe save some money initially.

I have read that for 2009 the factory installed Aero Kit will have body color painted fenders not the current black. So depending on whether the black or body color fender appeals to you, that is a consideration. See http://www.motoringfile.com/2008/03/...-update-in-09/ for a preliminary pic.
I was talking about the Factory installed aero kit . It looks like it is already painted to match body color. On the configurator i think it is in step 3 next to the factory spoiler. Not in step 5 with the jcw accesories. Looking for other opinions on how it looks. Is it worth the price.
How much lower are these in the front than the stock front should I be worried about ground clearance.
Do you think it is worth the $1250. Or is it just some cheap plastic that will crack on the first cement curb when parking.

.... The aftermarket offers fairly little in terms of body kit options. What's available currently has to be ordered from overseas thus making it considerably more expensive than the factory options. As for looks, I personally prefer the JCW aero kit, but its costs around $1800 to $2000 painted and installed. The factory aero kit isn't too bad as long as the arches are painted (which they apparently are for the next model year).... To sum it all up, if you cannot stand the stock look, but you don't see the point dropping huge bucks for the Euro stuff (or even the JCW), go with factory option.
