Apparently nobody saw my post in the 1st gen Roof Graphic thread;
(although i do notice this is in the 2nd gen section)

NOTE: PLEASE don't make the same mistake i did and order the wrong color. The color you select is for the "H" only. I was under the impression that it was for the entire roof. Needless to say, i'm getting it fixed.

I think it's great--MINIs are supposed to be fun--and able to make a joke! And just think how you'd add a moment or two of humor to a truck driver's life. Maybe he wouldn't be tempted to smoosh you!

Well, it'd be meaningful if your name is, say, Henry.

I think it's great, and probably one of the only roof graphics I'd even consider. Go for it.

I think it looks really cool. Simple, striking, and it doesn't clutter up the roof.
Go for it.

It's not my cup of tea, but if you like it do it!! That's the fun part of owning a MINI. Not every one likes my checkered bonnet stripes, but I do and that's what counts.

I like the roof graphics, but for a daily driver its a bit much for me. As a weekend car however, I would go all out. I saw a CR/ W R53 yesterday that had all sorts of Monte Carlo crap on it, with a checkered roof/ mirrors and Sport Stripes. It looked great, but again, a bit much for every day driving IMHO

My son-in-law has taken to driving around Houston with his (permanent) autocross number on the side of his Checkmate edition. I keep wondering what he'll do when The Man wants to have a chat with him...

For Mellow Yellow, I think that the checkerboard roof looks best. Or a white roof so that you can pretend to be a MINI school bus!

Yeah I'm not about the checkered roof, looks too taxi for me only with the yellow color. I would definatly get the Union Jack if my car were red or blue or checkered with a black mini. I just am all about color coridination.

I tried the checkered mirror caps with my car and I didnt like the look.

I think I will go for the Heliport GFX. It's different and kinda cool. I just wonder if I take it off down the road will the SUN affect the paint?

Sure it will, the sun will affect the unprotected (read: uncovered) portion of your roof. It shouldn't be anything that a good detail job can't fix though.

Sadly an R-22 won't fit on the roof of a MINI...

MINI width is 66.5 inches. Oh well.

I think you would regret it before too long. I agree with an earlier post, The checkerboard looks nice on yellow.

Why would he regret it? Because he can't land his Robinson on it?
