help me choose a color line

Which color line would look best with black lounge leather, english oak, wood steering wheel and shift ****? I'm going for a classic/retro vibe.

Thanks!

I'd think the brightly colored lines would be too modernesque for a classic look. If you wanted a color line at all, I'd probably go with the cream with that config. My 2 pence.

[Edit: ] DChap's just a smidge ahead of me. Lol.

Another vote for cream, at least for the classic look. It'd go well with the piping on the black lounge leather too.

Pepper White (I'm biased!) or British Racing Green. Check out the galleries and you'll get a pretty good idea from the pictures there. Sparkling Silver would look nice too. . .

I skipped the cream color line with English Oak and am very glad I did. Personal preferences...interior looks cleaner/not overdesigned/classic to me and the oak is the star. My vote...no color line at all!!

If you're getting the black lounge leather seats, I'd say get the cream color line because it is an exact match for the piping on the seats.

English Oak, Chrome, Standard Gray Color line, and Anthracite Headliner

(Everyone does the cream color line... might as well be different and spend less time cleaning the armrests after a summer of sweaty forearms)

The Cream color line does look pretty sweat though.

My exact reason for getting it. Also that in turn is a very close match to the Pepper White body color. Another thing I'd mention is IMO the anthracite headliner is a must with this setup.

Originally I was apprehensive going with the cream color line, but emtrey's MINI is what sold it on me, such a sweet setup! Only difference is I went with Piano Black trim and of course my MINI isn't CR.
What exterior color are you looking at?

Here's mine:

Thanks for the suggestions and pix folks! I'm leaning towards chili red with white roof and white sports stripes or PW with black roof and black sports stripes.

The black lounge leather looks great too. I went with the tuscan beige with wood, white color line and the door ovals are piano black. I think it has a classic look with PW/B.
The quality of the leather is top notch.

that is nice. At the dealership, there was a clubman with your exact interior. Very pretty. I'm actually torned between the beign and black lounge. I do think the beige actually looks a little nicer, but the black lounge looks more retro to me, and for some reason, that's important to me. Not sure which direction yet, but leaning towards the black LL, though I know my wife would much prefer the beige and it does look very nice... decisions...

This logic is unassailable....I forgot about the seats. Yes, the two are actually made/designed to go together and so I hereby also recommend the white colorline!!!

Cream white looks great with the lounge leather.

Of course I am biased...seeing all these pics just makes me more excited, I can't wait to finally see mine in person!

Yes...Gabe at MotoringFile got this combo on his MINI and spoke with the designers at MINI United. They were designed to go together.

PW/PW R56 with a cream colorline and the english oak is the sexiest combination out there, without a doubt.

True...they even featured it on display at Plant Oxford!!

I think with other seats I'd recommend a different color-line choice, but w/ black lounge leather this is definitely a winner!!!

check out my dad's new '08....BRG with tan color line and all of the wood interior...with the exception that its a JCW, it looks as classic as can be considering my looks like a "newer age"
