08 R56 vs 08 R56S

was thinking about getting some custom vinly for my mini....its an 08 MCS

does that means its an R56S or does the "S" never go after the R56...

just to restate...i want to get 08 R56S but not sure if i can just tack on the S


input/opinions?

R56 is the identifier for the current generation of MINI's.

R56S doesn't really mean anything in an official context, so no, the S never goes after the R56. It'd be like referring to the current BMW M5 (identifier E60) "E60M". You can if you want, of course.

Both the Cooper and Cooper S have the R56 identifier. You can stick an "S" on the end of the identifier if you feel that the badge, twin exhaust, body kit and spoiler aren't enough of a give-away.

You can do much more interesting things with vinyl in my opinion.
People who know what R56 means can probably tell it's an R56 - why point out the obvious?
