I put on my Jeep tie today and my wife said: you swapped the Jeep for a Mini, I bet there's a tie somewhere, I bet the NAM people know where one is." Well.........?

 

I don't know anything about a MINI tie as I'm not forced to wear such a punishing thing as a tie.

I'm posting because I also traded my Jeep for my MINI. I miss my Jeep at times but I forget all about it at the gas pump.

 

yep I have one... My wife got it for our anniversary... It was in the gift shop of the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA. I have never seen another but yep they exist....

BTW Red Lion Inn is highly recommended!

mine is different it has little MINI's running horizontally in different colors. It does have a pink background, however...

 

Keep 'em coming folks. I'm not stopping by the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge (wasn't that town in a James Taylor song?) anytime soon. there must be one with no pink in it.

 

some of the photo hosting sites will let you print your pictures on a tie. Snapfish (www.snapfish.com) is one I am sure there are others.

Get a white tie from the 80's (thin, no style) and a Sharpie and scribble MINI on it.

I have one and it's Liquid Yellow! I was bidding on it on ebay and lost. It was up for auction with another MINI tie that was pink. I contacted the winning bidder and asked if they would sell me the yellow one. At first they didn't want to part with it but then, after seeing my MINI and some of my videos on YouTube, they decided to give it to me! It was very kind of them to do that but hey, that's the MINI way!

The tie was some sort of internal promo item. It says "Oxford MINI Team" on the front and on the label on back:

 

Groovy yellow tie... if it only had black bonnet stripes!
