True, light AND strong wheels can be found, but it's not a given that a light wheel is strong and won't crumple like a soda can when you hit a pot hole.

Lightweight & strong aren't uncommon, just requires a 3rd property, Expensive !

Given your two options, I would definitely go with the ASA AR1's ..

Personally, I'm not fond of either the Crown Spoke or the Web Spoke. I sold my Crown Spoke and got these:

They are light weight, rotary forged (so they should be strong), and not very expensive.

To me, they go well with the MINI and have a rather classic hot rod look to them. This isn't the best photo of them. I need to take another someday.
