I find it very disingenuous that CR touts itself as the protecter of the consumer and yet it sends me several times a year craftily worded notices that my subscription is expiring when in fact I'm paid up until 2014.
This is the kind of dissipative junk-mail I would expect CR to report on, not practice.

 

CR is first and foremost a profitable company. As such, they cannot be trusted. When they operate as a non-profit org, I will consider trusting them.
