500 miles from me, or 8 hours.
My preferred dealership (where I got Nigel) is in Denver, which is 700 miles away, or 10ish hours.
Whew, suddenly my 3 hr trek to Roadshow MINI in Memphis doesn't seem *quite* so far. THAT is some vehicle dedication! I just have to ask, are your dealers still open to the trucking option if you have a major failure and can't get the car there?
How is ottos for service. anyone go to mainline mini.
My MINI is just under 4 months old, so I haven't been in for service yet. However their sales department is top-notch. Great deals on both of my MINIs without any haggling whatsoever.
yeah I think it's kinda dumb that MINI doesnt have at least one qualified tech at every BMW d'ship in America, inc. Alaska. I have also heard that the Seattle d'ship will cover a car's boat ride to and from Anchorage in case of major breakdown.

What can I say? I really wanted a MINI.
A friend's wife got an '06 that had some steering problems. They'd gotten theirs from Denver, too, but when it broke down, the dealership closest was Murray, so it got trucked there at the dealer's expense. However, the drive back isn't covered, so they either flew down to get it or had it trucked back up (about $500); I can't remember which they did. Either way, it's a few hundred bucks.
Yeah I'd imagine you don't run into too many Montana mini's. I'm really lucky where I live in the deep south because the mini in my town is so close. There's no other dealerships between Louisiana and Florida.
I think it's like 29 miles away. That's a good thing. I might have put down a deposit and ordered if it were close. This way it forces me to think through the choices and perhaps get better auto loan terms. However, it will be a hike for routine stuff after buying. With traffic, that 29 mile run could be hell.
35 - 45 mintues from home, but it's only a few miles from my office -- a 10 mintue drive. So, that's really convenient for dropping off and picking up later.

Actually, there's about a dozen MINI's here just in this town. And we're not the biggest town in the state, either. I know of more up in Great Falls, in Billings, in Missoula...
