R56 Any Freebies When Ordering a New MINI?
Floor mats/gas - just because
Two license Plate frames and a rubber boot mat, because although I had said I wanted them when placing the order, they were accidentally left off the order paperwork. I would have bought them when I took delivery, but they just gave them to me.
Alloy patina dash, Cool Blue mirror backs, rear hatch handle, and hood scoop, because the dealer replaced them with the JCW carbon-fiber versions. I also got the Cool Blue front grille that the dealer replaced with the chrome one.
Extra 12 months/14,000 miles on the free maintenance agreement, $250 gift certificate, and cabrio wind deflector, because mine was one of the 2006 convertibles that were accidentally stamped with a 2007 VIN and delayed as a result. These three freebies were the standard "apology package" from MINIUSA for the affected owners.

Didn't ask. I was told up front that they were included, and were included with all new cars from my dealer.
I got free floor mats for both mine. That's about it other than some stuff I negotiated as compensation for my MCS being "damaged" in shipping, most notable item being a Mini car cover.
On second thought, my MA did throw in some T-shirts for me and my wife, a Mini pen, a couple of key chains, a deck of Mini playing cards, some Mini mints, etc.
Just a bunch of trinkets and frivolous crap, but non-the-less I was appreciative.

The bottom line is that you're getting the CAR, and freebies, at such an insignificant price as someone pointed out, are just bonus items - hardly deal breakers. Yes, they do make you feel better...
As for myself, the sales person did not budge at all on the price, but I got the rubber raised mats on my R53, and the key chain with the wire locking piece. I was having trouble hooking the fob onto my keychain and he alertly went and handed me the $12.00 accessory.

Also a free tank of gas, but I view that as standard practice when buying a car nowadays.
ordering mine in about two weeks, and I'm planning on asking for floor mats, armrest ($250 extra for a freakin armrest?!?! are they serious?), and mudflaps for 'free'. Considering the economy now, they will probably deal...
I know if I bought one off the lot, they would be willing to negotiate the price. I very well might take the laser blue MCS they have in stock at a reduced price and mod it myself.
