Its funny to see the difference in what people considered a necessity. I know I personally could not have a car without cruise control, and yet it seems to be not ranked that high.

But those are for my wife... after all, it is HER car (my toy - according to her).

My list would be similar, but I would swap the sunroof for the LSD as must have, which I also was able to sell her on as a "safety" feature. Comfort Access was our late addition that is also a very nice to have (READ: lazy!).

 

For this particular S: (in no particular order)
1. xenons
2. auto a/c
3. sunroof
4. navigation system

 

I think I only got 4:

- Sunroof
- Cold weather Package
- Multifunction steering wheel
- Center arm rest

Sounds kind of lame, compared to everyone else's, but I live in NYC and intend to it just for short, fun trips. can;t wait to pick her up... hopefully this weekend. I am thinking about going into hibernation until it's at the dealer. Help!

Actually, for me its important what it doesn't have:

No sunroof! I have a Miata, so I don't need an invisible roof on the Mini.
No expensive factory option wheels! Rather get something light on the aftermarket (Enkei RFP, SSR).
But, most importantly...no low value (to me) dealer added options!
