Stealth MINI

Got my remote scrambler/jammer today.

Already have the RMR C450 for from detection and jamming, and now have the r202 for rear jamming :D

Although some people do believe they work, I have had RMR detector/jammers for years on all my cars and never got a single ticket.

The little rear mounted one is going to fit perfect in the rear grille work where it looks like rear lights would go.

Just popping one of those off and mounting it there and running the power up to the rear lights.

360* jamming

Don't listen to sheep who like paying their tickets to the revenue collectors. Awesome job, just watch out for granny when you're speeding around.

actually rmr jammer scramblers are legal

There are states trying to make them illegal because they work

I really don't speed that much, I just don't like getting tickets or speed traps. Personally I would rather drag race at the track No cops, or grannies to cut you off.

yes I know some states radar/laser detectors are illegal, but not Georgia

"From RMR site"
How are these units legal? The FCC regulates all consumer products that transmit or leak radio frequency into the air. (Part 15 of the FCC code) Since the scrambler and the scrambler portion of the combination units do not transmit but merely act as a reflective receiver they are legal under the FCC regulations; the receiver portion of the combination units are FCC Certified. Regarding the laser scrambler, there are no Federal laws against transmission of infrared light, so the laser-scrambling portion is legal as well. And all the units have an FCC label on the bottom.

√speed traps
+1

I've only had 2 tickets in 21 years of driving, -both were in speed traps.

What I am interested in is a speed detector (which I am pretty sure is legal). -Anyone know if these work? how well do they work, what's the best brands/models?? I don't want it so I can speed, I want it so I can have some warning next time a cop is hiding in the bushes giving people tickets for going 5mph over the limit in construction zone so the fine is 2x a normal ticket.

From the maker/inventor/founder of RMR:
Surprisingly, later in the conversation Churchman volunteered a most amazing analysis of the consumer's ability to tell a working radar jammer from a bogus box. "You could ship an empty box with a weight in the bottom and only get 22 to 24 percent back," he confided to us.

RMR devices are grossly illegal (because they violate FCC rules by outputting and interfering with legal devices) and have failed miserably at any independent test.

Here's some independent info for you to consume:

Laser/LIDAR Jammers work and are legal in some areas depending upon where you live:

eR1c- I can speak from personal experience that V1 has features that make it more effective than other listed detectors, because it locates where and how many radar sources are out there, that and looking at the links above the V1 has been at the top of the field for years, and Valentine offers excellent customer service and will upgrade the unit you possess instead of making you shell out more for a new detector. I also can run a full featured concealed display so if you're not in the car you can't see the information I've got.

Edit: ant this thread is nearly a year old!

I had the RMR-C450 and did get a ticket with it on. It was one of those times where I was just going to fast but didn't really notice I was. So maybe it worked for you but it didn't for me. On top of that they didn't pay the ticket like they said they would. But I have had it for 6 years now and one ticket. Over the weekend at the Dragon it burned up on me so I'm looking for something better.

I'm thinking the Valentine One is the next Detector for me. But most of the time if I'm going fast I got my eyes open and really watching anyway.

Side Note: I started doing Track days and I Auto Cross my Mini for my need for Speed.
