I've got the previous generation Tamiya Kit, R53. It's fun and cheap. You can get pre built ones or you can build the kit yourself.

I've got to get a new body for mine so that I can paint it to match my real one.

Does anyone know a good site to find painted bodies for the Nitro TC3? My TC3 is about 4 years old and needs some work done....I might just buy a new RC car; most likely another version of the TC3, the TC3 Plus (with a larger engine and 2 speed tranny).

Anyone have any input?

A TC3 is just a standard 200mm body non? You should have no problem going to your LHS and finding a painted body for it. Don't HPI, Traxxas and Duratrax all offer painted bodies?

I love the R/C hobby. I built my hpi RS4 MT (monster truck) from the kit when I was a kid, its so fun and rewarding to build it yourself, and plus, when, not if, but WHEN (lol) something breaks, you know how to fix it.
Good Times
