I don't think the MC has the LSD option.

2) Lower insurance, higher gas mileage, more "stuff" you want.

The MCS. To me, that's non-negotiable.

Option 1, if you want the MINI with mucho zip.

Option 2, if your seeking MAX gas mileage.

The both have a good set of options for the price.

I would go with Option 1, in fact I did with some other bits.

1) but PW/B. Hey it'll save you $450 which you can spend on the Chrome line and A-Headliner. Personally I'd prefer a stripped MCS to a fully loaded MC, but that's just me.

depends on your wants, needs, driving style, age, ins factors, etc.
I choose 2. Age 56 (today actually--happy birthday to me). I have had several tweaked BMW's and find that the Mc suits me fine. i also do not feel like I have anything to prove to anyone.

MCS, but I'd get rid of the auto AC. I hate the auto AC so much in my 2003 MCS that we got the standard controls on my wife's Cooper. It is just so much easier to turn a **** than try to outsmart the computer to get it to do what you really want.

The fewer electrical gizmos to go wrong the better.

Definitely MCS.

How about adding:

Rear Fog $100
LSD $500
Sport PKG $1400 (DSC, 17" Crown spokes & Xenon lights)
Auto A/C $300
Auto Wipers $200
Base Price $21,850
Metallic Paint $450
TOTAL $24,800

If you skip the metallic paint and get PW/B you save $450 and can get the HI-Fi sound for $550 and the total is $24,900

If I was to get a second MCS that would be my configuration. But I would also add sport stripes.

As for the Auto A/C, i read a review that the standard A/C was hard to set the system, is much easier with the Auto A/C

The Auto A/C on the 07 MCS is very easy to use. Just turn the **** for fan speed. and press blue for cool and red for heat. Very easy to use and very legible. The Road & Track issue that tested the MCS with standard A/C said that the controls on the A/C were hard to read and see.

MCS and MC are two very different cars. Give me new choices. MC vs MC or MCS vs. MCS.
