Did you remove your exhaust from the cat back? Did you also remove the box around the intake/air filter?
For the exhaust, if you look jack up the front and look underneath.. At the end of the downpipe, right after the 02 sensor, there is one clamp.. That is the part I took off and unhooked the rubber exhaust hangers all the way back. This free's up any restrictions..

As for the Intake, I put a removed the stock airbox and installed a filter in it's place.. I can post pics later if requested..
I can definitely feel a difference on the 'ol butt dyno when both were done (especially after the exhaust-almost no lag)

Any other questions, let me know

My G-tech is broken right now, I have to see if a reset could fix it, otherwise it'll be trashed and I'll get a new one, but I'm guessing to hit a 14.4 even at the track, I'd say the 0-60 on the street would be right at 6 or 5.9ish

so i take it you have not had any negative effect by removing this piece? once you did that did were there any noticeable differences? also, has anyone else tried this yet? it seems like a simple enough mod and if it gives more HP even better

Nope, no negative effect, no burning underneath... I figure it this way, try it, if you don't like it, it's easy enough to bolt it back up
Yes, I 'felt' like I noticed a small change, felt like it spooled faster and accelerated better.. One thing, is there is no backpressure, so when the car is cold, it may sound a bit different than what you are used to, and when you first start driving, from a stop, you may need some extra gas (just for the initial start going!) after that, no worries at all...
