Must be pretty sweet to live in Germany where you can legally drive 130 on the highway (since we don't discuss illegal driving on this forum). Hard to imagine a Corvette on the autobahn, but I'm sure there are some. . . .

I got mine yesterday (!) and it looks like a twin of yours 
taking it easy for now, break-in policy and all, but it's becoming harder and harder to resist the urge to floor it :-)

I sadly traded my R53 for an R56 but I love it so much it's chili red and white though. only 350 miles so far and I got it yesterday with 6 miles on the odo.
It's so tempting to floor it in the R56 from the R53 there's so much much more power I didn't think it would be that much faster and better but it is.

Absolutely. Actually, I think 130 km/h is pretty slow for the Autobahn. That only translates to about 80 MPH or so.

MINI looks tiny next to the X5, doesn't it?
I came back from driving very aggressively tonight for 30 mins.
The car in front of me was doing 57 mph in 60 mph zone. 57 mph on my speedometer means he was doing 52 ish....
I shifted down and floored it and passed a whole row of cars.
I get a adrenaline rush when I end up in the front at the traffic light. I don't do drag racing but I get aggressive in that position and by the time I am in the 4th gear the car behind me is about 200-300 yards away. This car is simply amazing... I know there are many muscle cars that are faster than the r56 MCS but they are gas guzzlers. I wonder what MINI will come up with in 6 years.

Nice MCS, the PW/PW scheme gives it that classy look.
Interesting engine break-in routine.
Now, no more chasing Corvettes or 911s or whatever till you break-in that puppy properly. We want the little guy to have a nice long engine life. Enjoy & Motor On!

thanks alot guys for all the good words. ill try to get more pics of it soon. But ya know i just cant help getting on the thing. its so fun to drive. a little quiet for my taste so soon i want to get alta cai and wake it up a bit. My girl friend also loves it to. hopefully i can get her to drive and learn to drive stick
