Option 1!!! Then again I may be just a BIT biased. But look at it this way - it'll save you 450 bucks and it integrates seamlessly with the sunroof if you decided to spring for it after all.
Ok, I have to break with precedent on this thread; I'm not going to tell you what car *I* think you should have--- I am going to try to make you think about what car YOU want. Both looks are fabulous in my book. PW/black is more common to see, however, in my experience, than DS/white. So if this is a consideration for you- that is, standing out a little more, or less, such as it may be, choose appropriately. This is not to say that PW/black does not stand out; far from it- it's a SHARP combo- and the more I see it the more I like it. My only point is that there seem to be more PW/black MINIs out there, overall, than DS/white.
Okay, okay... Both are about equally easy to maintain. Of all the silvers, I do like the DS best. But PW is a classic color, looks great, and hides the imperfections very well.
