Euro leather different to us spec???

This is from a german site: Stitched in the seating area.

I agree. The euro way may leave less of that streched out look as extra leather is available to stretch when you sit in the seat.

Can anyone verify this as a running change or an 08 change?

I think that is euro..I needed my seat cushion replaced and they said MINI shipped the wrong one..the pattern was supposedly reversed.

I think I remember reading that the US cars have different seats because of the airbag sensors that are required for cars sold here.

The Euro version is much better looking IMO.

That's exactly the reason. I wanted the euro spec seats, but couldn't get them, so I got leatherette.
