Has anyone installed boot stripes on their R56? I'm going to have the white stripes on the front, and I think it would look really good to put them on the back as well.

I would probably get them from a vendor here, Aesthetic Creations http://www.aestheticreations.net/bootstripes.htm

Is the Cooper S badge hard to remove? Are the stripes hard to install?

I used the Aesthetic Creations white boot stripes on my R53. Mike sends you new Cooper S badges as you cannot reuse the ones you remove. To remove the badges use dental floss on each letter to remove. Very easy.

 

at a local vinyl sign shop they quoted me $45 for the boot stripes including labor... I like the ones that go all the way down to just above the muffler tips.

 

I am on the fence on this one... I have a few decals on the way and I'll see how it looks. I don't want something too busy

 

My PW/B MCS will have two black vinyl stripes down the center of the bonnet and boot. I should take delievery 19/10/07. Yippee!

 

To me that's worth it as I don't have steady hands or a skillful eye to line things up properly. I think most tint shops should be able to handle the install too
