R56 MCD in the US
Unfortunately there is not a MINI D slated for Canada. However, you might have some luck importing a diesel SMART into the US.
Most Canadians that live near the border are flocking to US dealers to buy an auto/truck because of the Candian Dollar buys a lot more lately in the US. On top of that, Canadians are taxxed a bit more than we are in the US.
