Considering how fast he was going and how hard I hit him (split second to react) I'm amazed the front drivers side of the car is still attached. These cars are SOLID. Both the wife and I have sore necks and shoulders today.

Things you can't see in the pictures, scuff over the headlamp casing. Crease in bonnet (you can see where it doesn't align properly anymore). It also is either out of alignment or I have suspension damage because it's driving differently now.

Large truck merges into my lane on bridge. No room on shoulder and too late to brake so I speed up, swerved away, and got clipped in the rear. Most importantly, no one hurt. My daughter slept through the whole ordeal. The mini handled very well in retrospect.

Krut, I believe I would have let the Ferrari driver hit me. Then he and his insurance would have been responsible.

Unfortunately when you're reacting to getting out of someone's way you're not thinking of those things - and honestly I (as well as my passenger) could have been seriously injured by letting him hit me.

JohnBLZ and Lacning74 sorry to see your carsall messed up. Glad you are all ok.

After this accident, I'm tempted to get this rear view mirror camcorder. Automatically records when you turn on the car and continuously records over older footage.

That MINI driver is looking to get creamed one day if he keeps driving like that.
