A problem

2007 MINI S bought in Europe from Military sales. My car regularily drives really fast. The only "problem" was a windsheild gasket failure. Knock on wood......I havent any other problem. This car is fast. I wont say how fast cause theres a lot of older people on this site who get mad easily.
THE BIGGEST PROB IS THE DUMB RADIO SETUP W/ THE SPEEDO. NOT GOOD FOR AFTERMARKET. FACTORY SPEAKERS ON STANDARD SOUND ARE GARBAGE, PLAN ON UPGRADE./ NO probs with ANY thing else...

I want to say 5300 miles and no problem but I have the faulty ECU.

Deliver 02/2007 and happy 5300 miles until last week. The ECU went into limp mode and has been sitting in the dealership since last week. I think this is not common, since it is 1st generation MCS Turbo. In light of the ECU problem, I say MCS is pretty reliable and safe car all in the same.

Good luck..Mack
