R56 Standard cooper "fine white silver" trim is supposed to include door trim, right?

the image shown on the configurator show it as silver nut my just-delivered cooper has plain black vinyl "rings" on the door instead of the nice contrasting silver as shown online. Build error or a deficiency in the configurator's ability to show the standard configuartion? You'd think it would be accurate for the standard car, right?
The configurator is wrong ...
Gotcha. Bummer. I would have upgraded if I'd known that.
Edit: well, now that I read the thread you linked, I get the impression that all of the base coopers have black ellipses even if you pick a color line option. Weird. I guess you have to upgrade to Fluid Silver or Brushed Alloy to get silver ellipses? Really wish I woulda known.

Yes, you have to pay for one of the Interior Surface options to change the color of the door ellipses. The standard door ellipses are Matte Black in the MC and Checkered Silver (to match the dash) in the MCS.
