Has anyone installed there own Nuvi navigation that you can buy from Mini?? I found a link where it shows how to wire it, but on the comments someone stated that the wiring wasn't correct for the R56. If anyone know where to plug the wire in, please let me know, and for all of you that want just the bracket, you can call Garmin and tell you have the unit but not the mount and they send you one for free, that's how I got mines. Any if you have a correct link or PDF file for wiring it, post it

 

What bracket are you referring to? A standard Nuvi bracket, or is there one specifically designed to mount the Nuvi in a MINI?

Does anyone think a dealership can/will install/wiring in just the mount for me? I already have a Nuvi 360 of my own.

 

This is the free mounting kit i got from Garmin, I just told them that mines broke and they sent me a new one, just didnt want to pay 175 for one.

 

yea, thats the link I found, i called mini and there trying to charge me 200.00 to install it!!! 200.00!!!!!
