Hey everyone,

I just received my Mini Cooper S like a month ago. I was wondering about some mod's. Well first off my b/f bought be a faze boost gauge, we have it hooked up except for the vacuum line. I have no idea where that is. Next anyone know whats rims are pretty good, or whats the biggest size rims fit on the mini?

I don't know squat...and I drive a barely-modded Cooper w/ 15s, but I did want to welcome you to NAM!!! Congrats on the MINI!!

 

No idea about the vacuum line for the boost gauge, but I've seen 20's on a R53, and the wheel wells are bigger on the R56.

 

Yah it seems every message board I check people have no idea! I was thinking of getting maybe 18's, I don't know yet!

 

18's look PERFECT with an inch or inch and a half drop!

 

Seen pics of 19's over at MINI2... but the larger you go, the less compliance you have in the sidewall and the rougher the ride gets. Lower the car (and the R56 NEEDS IT!!!) and the ride roughens up even more so.

I wouldn't go bigger than 18's (and I'm actually personally sticking with 17's, myself).
