R56 Winding Road speed index
Winding Road speed index
Winding Road published this fairly interesting system by which they rate a car's speed index by looking at the HP, weight, and price. Speed per dollar. They don't figure in handling into it, but none the less my fairly stripped MCS figured at about 2800 garnering a 5th place behind the EVO and ahead of the Corvette.

Somebody has to figure out how to figure skid pad and slalom speed into the equation. Speed is not all straight line.

If cost is a factor, mpg should be figured into it as well.
So...multiply the SpD by mpg/25. 25 is my chosen number for an acceptable level of fuel efficiency in highway mpg for a performance car. That ought to move our MCS up a few spaces.
