Holy S***!!!!!!!!!

Went to my MINI dealer to get an update on production, and sitting in the lot were 2 MCS autos. My MA came out and asked if I wanted to take it for a drive. I thought about it for about a millisecond, and said sure why not.
I expected him to come with us, but he just gave us the key and said come back in about 20-30 mins. Now all this MCS/a was missing from the one I had ordered was the Hi-Fi and HD radio, and the trim options, also the only MCS/a I had driven was a 2006 convertable, as at that time an R56 MCS/a was just not available.
So we go out and try the sunroof, ac etc and then we reach some nice twisty backroads. I hit the sport button and "Holy S***". This car is a go-cart with a sunroof . The wife has this big grin on her face, I have this big grin on my face, and I hadn't even tried the gearbox paddles.
Well we get back to the dealership, eventually, and the sales Mgr meets us. "Did you like it" he says, "It's got good pickup(Blues Brothers)", I reply. He then tells me "Smudge" is scheduled fo production in week 22, one week early, however the auto box may take a week to arrive in Oxford.
Sorry Skuzzy, but no whining today

I gotta send this guy back to school. You missed a glorious oppertunity for a grand whine.

Ahem....

<snip>however the auto box may take a week to arrive in Oxford.
A week!?!! Another WEEK!!! This is nothing short of torture!! WAR CRIMINALS GET MORE RESPECT!!! ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!.

Never underestimate the possibility for a whine to be introduced.

Perhaps your speedy test drive cause a tear in the fabric of the Mini Time-Space Continuum and caused your production week to come forward. I suggest returning to the dealer (or another one in the area), test driving another MCS like mad again, and see if the Mini gods smile upon you and bump up your production week again.
