R55 Rear door wont open

Rear door wont open
Just purchased a 2009 MINI Clubman. The passenger rear door opens no issue. The driver's side rear door does not open. There is no sound or anything when I pull the latch. Is there a manual release for this door? Is there a way to open this door other than the outside handle? Am I missing something? Yes I am vary new to MINIs.
