R55 Fog Light(s) issue
Fog Light(s) issue
Been awhile - hope y'all are doing doing well.
Our 2010 Clubman has had a rough year. The window control panel burned up (and the passenger window motor) last last year. After getting some brake work done and the hoses replaced(poor thing sat for 4 months at the shop). Upon return, the brake sensor light was still on, had the CEL, and I found the floor was soaking wet on the driver's side (only). I got the water taken care of and found the cause was the sun roof. So I always covered her when it was raining or going to rain - and no driving in the rain. Garage said to bring the Mini back in to get the light issues finished. I explained about the leak and told them to keep her covered.
It rained. Oh it rained. And I called to make sure they had it in or was covered.
My wife got the Mini back this morning (I'm away on a trip, of course). Late this afternoon I get a call from my son and one of the lower lights (Factor Fog lights) is on and will not turn off. The other light will not turn on. I instructed him to try and pull the connector from the light that was on, but he couldn't reach it. So I said, pull the fuse (looked it up and sent that). I also called the garage - they admitted, the cover they put on came off during the rain.
So, after I get her dried out again, how do I proceed? Has anyone had this sort of problem with the Fog lights? I'm not inclined to take her back to that shop.
Mero.

Curious if you got it fixed?
I have an '09 R55 that I just bought. I noted the other day after washing it, there was a wet patch on the drivers side floor by the footrest. And I'm having an issue with the front left side marker light not receiving sufficient voltage. I'm planning on finding and cleaning the connectors today, then get into the footwell module since water was underneath it.
