Brake Question

I have an R55 2008 Clubman. I replaced my Front and Rear Brakes (and sensors). All works great, except the Emergency Brake.
When replacing the Rear Brakes I had to screw in the Caliper "a lot". My theory is that it has "NOT" self adjusted completely.
I read somewhere that the Emergency Brake also self adjusts. Currently I can pull it up about 9-10 clicks and it holds (some), just not the way it used to.
Should I do anything to hurry up the self adjusting? If so what?
Should I readjust for 3-4 clicks by tightening the Nut at the emergency brake?
Anyone know the e-Brake self adjustment stuff?

I'd start by pulling the Ebrake about 30 times and see if they adjust out. I do it after every brake job

Sometimes a few good firm
and HARD pushes on the brake
pedal helps advance the rear pistons.
