My 09 clubby has been sitting for the winter, partly because I've got a winter beater and partly because it wouldn't turn over. I pulled the intake to remove the starter or at least check it and found the solenoid broken at the bakelite like base. I put my spare on and it still wont turn over. I put 12 volts to the white wire going to starter and still no go. I put power directly to the starter at white wire clip and still won't turn over.
Shouldn't it turn over with 12 volts to the white wire connector?
I also checked the intake valves while I had the intake off. Looks like I'm doing a walnut blast before everything goes back together.
