Is this normal?
Hi,

2009 R55 Clubman. 115,450 miles. Changed the spark plugs and noticed the coil packs were corroded or rusted? Not sure what you call it. Not sure if it is normal. Cleaned them up and they work fine. Just wondering what causes this.

Yep it’s fairly normal. Scotchbright and clean them up.
