Could anyone tell me the stock thickness on a clutch friction disc? I have the engine all apart and the best I can tell is the friction disc I have is right about 6.9mm. It seems a little worn, but not too bad. The only info I can find is, the disc should be 2mm above the rivets, but it is pretty difficult to measure this...
I spent about an hour searching, but I am not very techie.

 

So, I bought a new valeo clutch kit, and the clutch disc measures at 7.3mm. This is a brand new one, but the one I had, that I thought was on the fence was more like 6.9mm. And I had an old one that was toast, and I didn't get to measure it, was more like 5mm. I believe in term of a clutch thickness, one mm is quite a bit of wear, like a brake rotor...I hope this helps someone someday...
