Ambient temp sensor mounting

Hello everyone.

So, the wife’s 2014 Clubman S clobbered a road gator on the freeway. I pulled the front bumper off tonight to fix the loose fog light and broken brake duct thingie. During disassembly, I found the ambient sensor just flopping around in there on the right side. Where does it actually mount? It looks like it clips in somewhere. Anyone had their LCI front cover off recently?

No help here....I know on my pre-LCI that it attaches to the back of the lower grille - I had to remove the clip to install my intercooler. I took a look at some pictures of LCI lower grille and I couldn't find anything that it would clip to.

Figured it out. It goes in the lower valence just forward of the lil short front mudflap thingie on the right hand side.

Yes, it just snaps into the bottom there. Is the sensor still good?

Yeah, it's fine. Just got knocked out of its spot when she hit the road gator.
