Muffler Delete

Hi all,

So I want to do a muffler delete on my Clubbie S. I've been looking for an aftermarket purchase option but have been coming up empty handed. Anyone know of any good ones? Also, I am definitely not ruling out a custom job. I have access to good exhaust shops here in the Bay area, and if that's the best option I will likely go that route, but I just wanted to see what others were doing. It's my first mini and first time modifying one (obviously), so I'm looking to get educated

Thanks!

The JCW clubman exhaust is a direct bolt on to the S piping. Better sound, better flow. If you want a great exhaust, milltek is fantastic, but $$

Yeah so i was eyeing the JCW tips as well. Probably the route I will go, but was also considering removing the rear muffler altogether and replacing it with straight piping.

JCW exhaust is here:

Some people like the no muffler option, but just know that you will get some drone with the straight pipe. Unless you like it loud.

I like it loud! I will leave the midpipe resonator in tact hopefully to help with the drone if I went this route.

Ok, ya if you take out the muffler, it gets loud and if you take out the res it gets really loud and drones.

Good luck.

You might try removing the resonators first and leave the mufflers in place. Should give you a little more sound without drawing attention from the police. It will also be really cheap.

I plan on doing this with a Hemholtz chamber to eliminate drone. We'll see how that works out. Good luck

Update: went for a muffler delete. Sounds awesome, a few crackle and pops every now and then when in sport mode.
