I'm looking to replace the factory 16" TPMS wheels on my '11 R55 S with some 17's. I'm hoping to "flush" the wheels a little better and then pick up some Megans and do a conservative drop. I've searched around but not finding too much out there.
I don't want to to a stanced Mini but would like a mild lip or nice concave wheel in 17x8 with a tire that has some meat to absorb bumps, higher than stock would be OK with me to help feel the wheel gap.
Any suggestions would be nice, I think these are 17's, guy lists them with 205/45 tires but no wheel specs or diameter.
Something with fitment like this but a more aggressive wheel look would be awsesome.
That's a nice looking Clubman....it has been dropped.
I did some Megan coilovers and dropped mine a similar amount, added some 12mm spacers, some Hotchkiss lower camber links, and some 17 inch conical spokes (R121). Looks very similar to this car, in terms of stance.
I know what you mean about a wheel with a mild lip or concave. You might check out some Rota RB's....they look great in 17
