My Wife's 2012 Clubman S is giving a check engine light and when I check the code I get a 0x3490 Map Thermostat Activation : Line break>Not currently detected:Warning Lamp On Where can I find out what the problem is so I can fix it without going to the dealer located 3-4 hours away!!! I have searched the forums with no luck. Please any assistance would be appreciated.

 

I googled your code, on the BMW forums, they say you need a thermostat.
