I have a 2009 mini cooper clubman jcw and just got a manic stage 2 tune. I know that more power means more fuel. I had a feeling the HPFP would start going out. Well, on cold starts now after 2 weeks of the tune it has a real hard time starting. It will run right after 2 or 3 cold starts. I know that I have a 10 year 120,000 mile warranty on the HPFP. My question is will my extended warranty on the HPFP be voided since I got a manic stage 2 tune.

 

Remove the tune and the dealer will never know you had it unless you tell them directly. You can do this easiest with the SPS switcher otherwise I think you'd have to send your ECU back to the tuner to have him retune back to stock. I'd recommend not going to dealer with the tune still just so they don't have that excuse to deny warranty (even though it's pretty directly related).
