I am getting ready to go look at a 2008 clubman S at a dealer, they told me it has "oil leak from transmission cooler lines" but it is a manual transmission. any idea what they might be talking about? and what should I look for when i see it? Just curious because it is a really good price and if it would be worth fixing.

Good idea about not buying the car with a known leak. Furthermore I'd suggest looking at the 2011+ S models with the revised N18 engine. They seem to have less problems so far.

 

They are telling you a story. The manual transmission doesn't have a transmission cooler.
