Hide all the Sharp Implements....

A few weeks ago I had a coolant leak...It was a thermostat housing. Ordered one from a source that will remain nameless and they only had an aftermarket one in stock. I had them overnight it as I was flying out of town several days later. Installation was not too bad. I did however have an issue....according to my scanner the max temp was 74 degrees although i did get heat and I got P112B codes. I thought it might be the temp sensor. Returning from my trip I called the unnamed source and without hesitation they said they would send me another one, dont worry about sending the first back. I suspected they have been having problems with their house brand as they referred to it. They even overnighted it without my asking,,EXCELLENT, this one red 205 and I bled the housing, on the test drive it hit 295, cold air from the heater and now has very expensive looking antifreeze in it....I am not new to working on cars, I have been building them for 53 years and have worked at both dealers and manufacturers....this aint good....anyone else have this situation......I will be drinking Tequila the rest of the night
