Window problem

My passenger side window only goes down half way automatically...then when i try to go all the way down it goes back up to half way...if I try to roll it all the way up it goes back down to halfway again. The only way I can get it to stay up is if I tap the button til it gets to the top....it's really freaking annoying. Has anyone ever had this happen? And how do I fix it on the cheap?

There is a reset on the window. Hold the window switch down until window is down. Then 15 seconds longer. Should reset the window

I have a similar problem with my passenger window.
When the window is slightly open and I want to automatically close it, when it is closing automatically it stops and return to it original position (or lower, how if there is an obstruction on it way).
It seems there is something interfering in it way.
The strange thing is that only happens once every 3 month.
The official service could not find the error. Other techs told me that lubricating the rollers that moves the window, will delete the issue.

The instructions given by daddyandmadi are for reset the up and down limits of the window, but this is done when the windows is not working automatically. From what I read, it works but halfway.

Anyway, I would try the reset recommended by daddyandmadi.
There is nothing to lose.

My window actually rolls fine...there is no obstruction and it has a strong movement. I will try the reset option and see what happens....thanks for the replies!
