I Couldn't find the thread about this. But my question is, when I unlock my doors on my MCS Clubman (R55), the side marker light blink. This is after the fact that I unlocked the doors. What's the reasoning behind that?

 

its just a visual indication that your car received the signal from your remote. nearly all keyless entry systems are designed to do this so you can lock/unlock your car from a distance while still being assured it worked.
