Long story short I have owned/leased an 07 MCS, 09 MCS and now an 11 Clubby S that i bought late last year w/ 22k miles on it (currently @ 26.5k). My father-in-law recently drove the car and noted that the clutch seemed to engage pretty high up. I didn't think much about it and just blamed a minor design difference between the 07/09 and the 11. Yesterday i dropped it off at Morristown Mini for some other things (rattle on the tach and broken seat adjustment handle) and asked them to take it for a drive and feel the clutch.

I get a call back saying that the clutch was questionable, but since i was still covered under factory maintenance until July they are going to replace it! Better safe than sorry they said! Major props to the team at Morristown Mini (NJ).
