Should this heat shield look like this??

Is that normal. Looks like it had melted at one time or is that the way they can look???

What exactly are you referring to? The heat shield over the turbo that looks bubbled out IS correct, if that's what you mean.

The big shield, with the hand with a an X over it, to the left of that you see a crack/big opening.

Yep. Mine looks the same. Had it off also. Totally not melted. It bubbles out like that because the exhaust side of your turbo is shaped like that.

Yep. Normal. Don't worry. In fact, I'm jealous. Mine does not look that nice. It was exposed to too many winters

I would be more worried about that turbo oil line, rusted like that.
