R55 Need Bass
Need Bass
Ok, just bought my 13 clubman S this week and somebody must be putting subs in these ? Is there any sub output on head unit ? Where are you putting subs ? I just miss my bass , my silverado had 2 10" subs and probably don't need much in a mini . Just point me in the right direction please.

Nope, can't be done. Guess you'll have to get headphones.
I could just tap the rear speakers but not ready to tear apart my car with 100 miles on it yet
well my loaner is a 2013 paceman that the owner just swapped for a 2014, it came with every option to the tune of 41K , who in their right mind would pay $1K for those rally lights ? Any way back on topic, the car of course has premium sound and I noticed speakers under the seats, wow, hope they are water proof, sure sounds nice but that nav/prem unit is just too much stuff for me.
There are many, many threads about sound systems in these cars. Your limit is your imagination. Here's my personal rec:
Amp wiring adapter from newministuff.com
http://www.newministuff.com/new/shop...uctshow&id=469
Alpine V series 5 channel amp (75 x 4, 150 x 1)
Front component set of your choice (MB Quarts here, Focals are popular too)
Ignore the rear speakers
Alpine R series ported 8" box (you could find a 10" box but I think it's overkill in these cars)
Get someone competent to tune the system
Put sound deadener everywhere you can
You'll have a killer system for <$1000
