Hi guys, I have an odd problem, I have a 2012 Clubbie with the ipod Y cable to hook up my 3rd gen Nano. Ever since I got it, the ipod display will soetimes show the wrong title for the song plyaing, and if I hit the back button on steering wheel it goes to the right song. Also, sometimes it will start to play a song and then skip forwad to a new song after like 10 seconds or less. It seems to be random dong this, no real pattern.

I have tried an old ipod Mini 2nd gen, and two different Nano 3rd gens. All do the same thing. I have a new Touch 5th gen, I am gong to try now. I am wondering if anyone else had this problem? Is there a firmware update I can do to the mini to get it to work right?

 

No help, but mine does the same thing on occasion.

 

Mine sometimes does not recognize the iPod as an iPod, even though the dual USB/aux cable is connected. When that happens, the iPod will charge and will play by selecting the aux input.
