wow we r just talking a stupid horn beep and to feel the passion. My my I am glad it's just a car..
Oh well- pischick- I am in ur camp- as I walk away from my car i just want to hear that chirp and keep walking. I don't like the loud honk or loud chirp just a soft verbal alert. If u find a simple fix pls update us.

 

I mentioned the piezo siren hooked up to the gas cap lock wiring. It has been done before and is pretty simple. This post was before we bickered about chirps, honks, and beeps. I hate the noise, but if you want to do it, in the interest of tearing apart a car for DIY, them I am all for it
