Hello everyone. New here and need some info. My thermostat light has been coming on and I had no heat till it did come on for a few weeks. So I figured my thermostat was sticking. Well it finally stopped coming on, but then coolant was coming out from pressure build up in the system (air was in the system) so we decided to take it apart. I know we should have tried to bleed it first but after what we found that would have been a waste of time. Well what we found was the tube that runs from the thermostat housing to the waterpump is cracked. It is not a rubber hose, it's a hard plastic tube. I cannot find this part online, because I cant figure out what it's called. Does anyone know? Thanks so much! 08 clubman

Good luck and don't forget to bleed the system, a lot. Use Castrol GRR on hoses and clamps.
