Best simple suspension fix for Clubman S street handling?
I just shoveled a ton of snow, and spring is a few months off, so I'm thinking about mods. (Snow fever has set in early this year.)
I've been driving my new-to-me Clubman for a couple months. Engine makes plenty of power to get into trouble; the suspension is another matter. The steering turn-in feel is pretty tight but the car tends to float around in curves, especially the broken and frost-heaved pavement common on New England back roads.
I've read that the Clubbie's body isn't as stiff as the standard hatchback, and I believe it. I jacked up one corner to start installing my winter wheels, I was surprised to see that both corners didn't lift off pavement at the same time like on my old R53! The frame just twisted… ugh. Anyway. Can't fix that; what can I do?
I'm thinking a stiffer rear sway bar is the best place to start — what works well for Clubman street use?
After that, is there any benefit to a front tower brace? Or is the Clubman just so flexy it doesn't help?
Is there any street value to buying a set of new shocks?
Thanks for your thoughts! I have a few months to make a decision and order parts. I'm not installing anything until my driveway is dry and not cold.
TL;DR: What's the best simple way to improve street cornering, without lowering the car?

A sway bar is a good place to start. I just picked one up from Helix, a H Sport adjustable 19. They are on sale now at this link. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-swaybars.html
