... so after waiting nearly a MONTH for the extended warranty company to tell me replacing the valve cover (oil separator'd failed, sending oil into the pre-heater and engine wiring harness) wasn't covered on my early '07 S I traded for a '13 Clubman out of the dealer's inventory.

My R56 had "issues" almost from Day_01, starting with the infamous cold-start problem. The fix for that appears to finally have given up (built-in oil separator function in the valve cover) resulting in recurring Check Engine Light warnings since a year ago last October.

Anyway, be wonderful having the extra length inside (and a SPARE TIRE!!!) for a change.

Man I guess I missed something in my research! I've had 3 other MINI'S since 2002, also two sets of 16" alloys with summer & winter tires.

Once it gets light enough to see outside this morning I gotta go try to find the RSC icon on those new tires....

Just cause there is a spare doesn't mean you don't have run flats. Mine justa came with both.
