Sigh. First major issue.

So my transmission slammed into reverse twice Sunday, car died and threw transmission and SES lights.
Dealer called and the teams fluid has seeped into the control unit and corroded some wiring so it's all being rebuilt and fixed. Really sucks given I have less than 25,000 miles.

Hate to hear this...it happens. No warning signs of impending doom, I take it?

Sorry to hear Kevin. I assume they are doing the work under warranty since the car is less than 4 years old?

Got him back. Shifts better. I insisted they put new fluid in. They wanted to reuse the old stuff!!

Whole new wiring box. Makes me feel worried for long term. Dealer cost $915. And what's with showing us the billed invoice lately. They never used to do that.

Well. I just had the sunroof replaced. And the comfort access system. And the ac compressor. 4 years old, only 28000 miles and $6000 worth of work.

Warranty now gone. Warm fuzzies are gone too.

Sorry to hear that. I found an "exellent deal" on a gray 09 Clubman S. A VIN check thru Global Imports, Atlanta showed an engine & turbo replacement at 23k, valve leaking, "extensive work". Guess I should've expected it because AutoCheck showed it had been auctioned off to current seller. I guess the $16,9 was too good to be true.
